Columbia Community Television (CCTV) is a non profit public access station. We exist
for the sole purpose of allowing the public to be seen, heard and to express their place in the community.
What does this mean for you? Unlike network television, public access allows anyone
the opportunity to videotape, produce, edit and broadcast their own work. We are also not regulated by FCC rules which means
our members have freedom of speech and expression. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and through this valuable resource
of public television, thousands of people can hear about it.

CCTV NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
We need folks who are active in the community, business leaders, moms, dads and kids who
want to help make television in and for Columbia County.
CCTV currently reaches the cities of St. Helens, Scappoose, and Columbia City. We
also have tape playback available in the Portland metro area - that's a lot of folks! We also play at several other stations
in Oregon and Washington. We have the coverage, but we need people to cover local events, city & county meetings and to
create their own programs. Public television is a valuable tool that we should not be without, but we need your
help to keep it going!

What can CCTV do for you?
We can train you on the use of video equipment, (analog and digital) or if you have your own recordings,
they can be played on CCTV!
- Tape that high school football game last night?
- Did you miss the city council meeting last week?
- Shoot a parade? A trip? or 4th of July fireworks?
- You and your friends do some acting?
- Got that creative itch?
CCTV can help and you can help us!
