CCTV Celebrates Grand Opening at new location!
Saturday, November 5th, CCTV held its Grand Opening at the new location at 293 S. 1st St. in Olde Towne St. Helens. We had a local band play for us, some upcoming young talent and topped it off with a Native American song and blessing for our new home by a mother and her 2 daughters from the Grand Ronde Tribe. We also covered the dedication of the statue of Captain Meriwether Lewis's dog at  St. Helens Riverfront Park. Our first covered event from our new headquarters was a cold, wet one, but hopefully the first of many events and happenings that our volunteers will capture. This taping will air on CCTV soon, please check the program schedule for updates.
We are awaiting the final hookup of our live signal so that we may complete our move from St. Helens High School where we still have our playback equipment and the readerboard. As of 11/9 we have the fiber optic cable run into our new building , but it's not quite ready to be connected. We wish to thank Comcast and Columbia River PUD for their support and cooperation in helping us move our broadcast signal!
November 24, 2005:
Happy Turkey Day! As of last night, we are officially back on the air after a week of "dead air" and two weeks of no programming. We are finally online at our new location. All we need now is cable so we can see what we're doing! Comcast is busily working on that for us - Special thanks to Josh at Comcast and his crew for getting us back up and running - we greatly appreciate it - and so do our viewers!
